The Company
The Hahns have been running the family winery in the 9th generation since 1747. At the moment it's Ute and Alwin Hahn with their daughters
Franziska and Rebecca. Our employee Andrea Hilgers expands the team. In addition to the winery and the Straußwirtschaft, we offer guest rooms
and apartments for our wine lovers.

She grew up in her parents' family winery. She realized early on that she couldn't let go of wine and started her apprenticeship as a winemaker right after leaving
school. The journeyman didn't live up to her claim, so she crowned her thirst for knowledge with the title of "vintner master". Lovingly caring for the guests, preparing the breakfast buffet in
the morning and room service are Ute's passion. As a real professional, full of passion for her own product, she advises the customers in our vinotheque in a professional and charming way and
conjures up our hearty little things in the kitchen.

Originally, as a real "Eifeler Jung", he never dreamed of becoming a winemaker, but love went its own way. For a long time now, he has been "thrown" the field
operations with passion, the specialists are only there to advise. Alwin loves his tractors and machines, but he also professionally does the original "craft" that still arises in the vineyard. Of
course, he is responsible for all repair and handicraft work in the house and yard. He proves his green fingers in the garden and tinkers with small art objects. As a modern man, you can also find
him selling wine and serving wine.

The cosmopolitan wine power woman.
Rebecca showed early on that instead of blood, wine seems to run through her veins. After graduating from high school, she studied viticulture as part
of a dual course in Neustadt. In this context, she was also able to realize her dream of living in Canada for three months and working on a winery. She came back with a lot of new experiences, completed
her bachelor's degree and worked in the family business from time to time. During her studies, she was able to fulfill another wish she had had since childhood and was the wine queen "Mosella" of Kröv for
a year. With a lot of self-confidence and charming demeanor, she promoted Kröv and Kröver wine and is very proud this year that her sister is following in her footsteps. Since Rebecca's bachelor's degree
was not enough, she is currently studying for a master's degree in viticulture, oenology and wine management and will spend the winter semester 2022/23 in Vienna. Between all the study time, she also takes
care of the social media appearances of the winery. Of course she always comes back to Kröv and helps where she is needed, whether in the vineyard, in the wine cellar, in the vinotheque or in the kitchen.

The "chick" of the Hahns.
She has just completed her bachelor's degree in food chemistry and would now like to deepen her knowledge with a master's degree. Due to the corona restrictions and the resulting online
lectures, she spent most of her Bachelor studies in Kröv. If you live in the family winery, you can't avoid helping out from time to time. Her enthusiasm for cooking predestined her for the hospitality sector. Our warm delicacies
are prepared independently by her. The Riesling soup, the carrot-ginger soup and the two quiches are simply delicious and round off the enjoyment of wine in the vineyard and our "Straußwirtschaft" . Franziska was crowned the wine
princess of Kröv at the beginning of July 2022. In this office, she represents her home town and, above all, the Kröver wine along the Middle Moselle in a charming and eloquent manner.

The new employee.
Since September 2021, Ute's long-time friend has been employed by us.
As a winegrower's daughter and coming from Kröv, it was not difficult for her to start working in the company.
She mainly takes care of the "bureaucracy" and the phone. In between, she also enjoys helping out in other areas.
As a trained bank clerk and horse manager, she appreciates diversity. She enjoys travel and languages and enjoys
serving our international guests.
